April Fools DayApril Fools Day is celebrated in many countries on 1st April. It is generally associated with hoaxes and pranks, which traditionally last until noon.
Well known pranks and hoaxes include the BBC Panorama Programme in 1957 about spaghetti trees. In 1998 a science journal claimed that the Alabama State Legislature had changed the value of the mathematical constant PI.
Themes and Decor SuggestionsSince the day is about humour and pranks staff could wear out of place clothing such as pyjamas, or dress as clowns or jesters.
April Fools Day Food SuggestionsAny foods served should be equally odd or incongruous. How about serving jelly and ice cream, or banana sandwiches?
